Tuition
It is clear that America has the best education system in the world
and that it is the key to a successful future in the 21st century. It is
also clear that because of costs and other factors not all Americans have
access to higher education.
The Arizona Opportunities Industrialization Center operates an Adult
Training Program in conformity to Title IA of the Workforce Investment
Act (WIA) as amended by the Workforce Investment Reform Amendments of
1998 as directed by the City of Phoenix/Workforce Industry Council
Service Delivery Area, Human Services Department, Employment and Training
Division hereafter referred to as the City of Phoenix.
All vocational training services are provided to the City of Phoenix,
Employment & Training Division from our site located at 39 East
Jackson Street, Phoenix, Arizona 85004. Arizona OIC communicates directly
with the WIA Administration located at City Hall, 200 W. Washington, 19th
fl, Phoenix, Arizona and operates its program under the direct
advisement, guidance and leadership of the Senior Employment &
Training Specialist.
At Arizona OIC, there is no tuition cost to the participant.
Reasonable tuition costs are provided by the City of Phoenix for clients
eligible for Title IA of the Workforce Investment Act. However, clients
are responsible for their expenses while attending school.
The Arizona Opportunities Industrialization Center does not deny
services to its clients because they are not eligible to secure funds
through the City of Phoenix's Title IA Program. Other payment options may
be available. The Arizona Opportunities Industrialization Center will
explore every possible funding source to secure training for its potential
clients.
This program opens the doors of opportunity to every American,
regardless of their ability to pay. It offers training to every adult
willing to work for it. Nobody now needs to be stuck in a dead end job or
in unemployment. We'll help create opportunity if you'll take
responsibility.
If you're willing to work hard and take a chance, you can attend the
Arizona Opportunities Industrialization Center. If you're already working
but you can't move ahead; if you're a mother planning to go to work but
you're afraid you don't have the skills to get a good job; if you're
worried that you need more education to support your family, by all
means, come to the Arizona Opportunities Industrialization Center.
