How does it work?
Counseling services are provided in our offices located at Arizona
OIC. The services are free of charge and are available to all students. Most counseling
is done on a one-on-one basis. The number of sessions depends on the nature and extent
of the problem, and is determined by the student and the counselor. The counseling
services staff is available to assist with common issues relating to students' growth
and development. These services include counseling support through an extensive referral
network for crisis intervention, psychiatric consultation, and mental health .
Confidentiality
Counseling sessions are confidential, and information regarding
counseling sessions cannot be released without a student's written permission. The
areas of confidentiality include whether or not a student has come to the center, as
well as the content of the sessions. Any records of sessions are kept secured in
accord with the highest professional standards, and they do not become part of a
student's academic records.
Counseling Hours

Career Planning
If you are unsure of the type of job or career path you want, your
counselor, assessment staff and instructor team can help you decide through the career
planning process. This includes things like who you work best with, the types of
settings you prefer, and possible job options. It’s a great way to get to know
yourself better and focus in on the best job match for you.
